The Full Story
Always full of dreams, and ready to turn them into action, we decided in 2020 to sail as much as we could. With guests who want to experience the live aboard lifestyle.

It all started with local bar "Maxim" in Johan's old hometown where he spent time with his friends and talk about life goals.
He decided back in 2016 to change it completely. Stop with a stressful job, buy a boat and sail around the world.
​
After visiting several boat shows a Lagoon 39 was chosen to start this new lifestyle. Sailed as much as he could and enjoyed it so much, that he changed it soon for a larger Lagoon 42 and take guests of a luxury beach club on board in Ouddorp for the summer.

With great ideas, the sailing journey continued to the Mediterranean and Ibiza was the destination for the summer of 2018. Cruising around the amazing blue waters and white sandy beaches, it was an amazing summer.

With always a passion for Malta, famous for its numerous amazing dive sites, it became the new base for Catamaran Maxim!
Johan's knowledge of the island and Agnes hospitality background was the key for a personal charter experience in the Med!
​
From sailing trips, private dining events and AirBnB accommodation we continuously worked on new ideas. During a sailing trip around the Ionian Islands we decided to go for a Lagoon 46, which for us ticked all the boxes for a longer stay on board and offer a live aboard experience!

Lagoon Catamaran 'Maxim 46' was born!

After 6 months of waiting the boat was ready to be collected from La Rochelle, France and we are currently based on Bonaire where we offer luxury private charters.
We also offer a short base for creative people who want to experience the true live aboard life, get inspired by remote places only accessible from the sea and boat enthusiasts!
